Sr. Director, Revenue Operations

Voted one of INC.’s Fastest Growing Companies and a Best Place to Work for the past four years, IndeVets is a company devoted to making the lives of veterinarians better. We were built to address the mental health crisis in vet med by giving doctors back the time they deserve for better work-life balance. Our highly credentialed veterinarians fill in for permanent staff at hospitals facing shortages across the U.S. Our mission is to bring balance, fulfillment and joy back to vet med while providing our partner hospitals with consistent, compassionate coverage to maintain excellent care for pets.

The Sr. Director, Revenue Operations will build and lead an integrated Demand–Supply–Fulfillment engine across Sales, Recruiting, Marketing, Scheduling, and Clinical to ensure predictable demand, reliable doctor supply, and rapid shift fulfillment. Reporting directly to the CEO and leading the Scheduling team, this leader creates a unified operating system with clear SLAs, trusted data, tight execution cadence, and measurable improvement in fill rate, utilization, forecast accuracy, and revenue performance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Demand–Supply–Fulfillment funnel definitions, KPIs, dashboards, and data integrity: Establish and maintain one canonical funnel across Marketing, Sales, Recruiting, Scheduling, and Clinical. Define stages, conversion rules, and reporting standards. Ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency across Salesforce, ATS, and marketing platforms.

  • Directly lead the Scheduling Department: Own day-to-day execution of doctor scheduling and shift fulfillment, accountable for speed-to-fill, utilization, and Partner Hospital experience.

  • Design and enforce SLAs across functions: Define handoff criteria, service levels, ownership boundaries, and escalation paths. Monitor adherence and drive corrective action when standards are missed.

  • Run weekly and monthly RevOps operating cadence: Lead pipeline reviews, forecast reviews, fill and utilization tracking, and cross-functional execution forums. Prepare data-driven pre-reads, facilitate decisions, and hold owners accountable.

  • Build and maintain a demand forecast aligned to recruiting capacity: Ensure Sales targets demand that is fillable by geography, shift type, and cadence, aligned with hiring strategy and doctor availability.

  • Identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions to closure: Continuously analyze throughput, conversion rates, and cycle times to surface root causes. Translate insight into prioritized actions and drive them to measurable impact.

  • Partner with Sales, Recruiting, Clinical, Operations, and Marketing leaders: Act as a neutral integrator and trusted thought partner to align priorities and translate strategy into coordinated execution.

  • Own sales compensation planning and incentive design: RevOps owns the design, governance, and ongoing optimization of Sales compensation plans to ensure alignment with company objectives, demand quality, and fillable growth. Leverage RevOps ownership of funnel definitions and KPIs to create incentive structures that drive the right behaviors—profitable demand, accurate forecasting, clean handoffs, and high-quality bookings. Partner closely with Sales leadership and Finance to ensure plans are measurable, scalable, and tied to trusted data and performance outcomes.

  • Translate strategy into execution-ready plans: Turn strategic objectives into clear initiatives, milestones, resourcing plans, and success metrics. Define what good looks like and ensure disciplined execution.
