The National Sales Director leads IndeVets’ nationwide Hospital Growth and Success team, which includes Hospital Growth Managers (HGMs) and Territory Development Representatives (TDRs). This role is responsible for driving hospital growth, utilization, and satisfaction while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and trust. The Director will unify and motivate the team, align priorities with IndeVets’ mission, and partner cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence and sustained growth.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Define and communicate a clear leadership philosophy and vision for the team.
  • Coach and mentor HGMs and TDRs to achieve growth and utilization goals.
  • Establish structured communication rhythms and listening mechanisms to build trust and understand challenges.

Culture & Performance Alignment

  • Cultivate a winning team culture that balances support with accountability.
  • Set clear performance metrics and ensure consistent tracking and reporting.
  • Connect team success to IndeVets’ mission and values.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Recruiting, Scheduling, Marketing, and Clinical Operations to align on goals and execution.
  • Navigate conflicts between performance expectations and operational constraints effectively.

Operational Excellence

  • Structure daily and weekly priorities to balance short-term performance oversight with long-term strategic planning.
  • Establish regular touchpoints and routines for team engagement and progress tracking.

Data, Reporting, and Insights

  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics (growth, utilization, satisfaction).
  • Provide concise internal summaries on team health, risks, and emerging trends.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and recommendations for leadership.

Qualifications

Experience & Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in healthcare or veterinary services.
  • Proven success leading multi-regional or national sales teams.
  • Strong track record of driving growth and building high-performance cultures.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 30–40% for team engagement and partner meetings.
