Responsibilities

The Key Accounts Director ensures the success and expansion of IndeVets' Preferred Partnership relationships with corporate veterinary groups. This role is responsible for maximizing account performance by deepening corporate partner engagement, ensuring delivery on service commitments through effective collaboration and coordination within IndeVets, and identifying new growth opportunities within existing corporate accounts. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned corporate veterinary groups. 
  • Ensure successful implementation of Preferred Partnership, including shift prioritization, reporting, services and more. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase shift volume, improve service delivery, and solve coverage gaps. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Scheduling, Clinical, and Recruiting teams to ensure high-quality delivery. 
  • Analyze account data and trends to present actionable insights in Quarterly Business Reviews. 
  • Support the SVP of Growth in the new business development process: 
      - Analyze prospective customer and market data 
      - Create compelling presentations and materials 
      - Participate in strategic meetings with corporate groups 
      - Track and follow up on action items to ensure momentum 
  • Track and manage account performance metrics in Salesforce and related platforms. 
  • Resolve escalations quickly, aligning internal stakeholders and clients to reach resolution. 
  • Partner with Growth and Marketing teams to pilot new offerings and improve account stickiness. 

Qualifications

 

Education & Experience  

  • 5+ years of experience in key account management, client success, or strategic partnerships. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Experience in veterinary medicine or animal health industry is a plus. 
  • Experience in healthcare, staffing, or multi-site B2B organizations preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of client data reporting, QBR processes, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). 
  • Proven track record of expanding strategic accounts and resolving client challenges. 

Physical Demands & Work Environment: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer  
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times  
  • HQ office space or home office space  
  • Travel to HQ office space at minimum quarterly for departmental meetings  
  • Frequent typing and talking over the phone or Teams  
  • Comply with all operational standards and employment laws and regulations
